Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is an interesting play on standard anime rom-com and sci-fi, tossed and turned in a dramatically non-linear structure.  Not really sure it all came together in all that memorable of a fashion, but certainly interesting along the way.

Stumbled upon a review for anime movie, 5 Centimeters Per Second and I was curious to check it out. Goodness, some of the shots are astounding visually . Really really interesting. Here's a new audio format that allows you to turn off different tracks of a song. For example, you can turn off the voice track on a song and it becomes a karaoke accompaniment.
